The Port of Heysham offers a single passenger ferry service to Douglas in the Isle of Man, which is operated by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
Services operate seven days a week.

Off season, there are twice daily crossings from Heysham to Douglas, while during the summer months, express services are laid on to complement the regular services. The express services are operated by Fastcraft and make the journey in 2 hours, while conventional vessels make the same journey in 3 hours, 30 minutes.
Port Douglas on the Isle of Man is a significant passenger ferry port, with the terminal offering a lounge with a TV, baby-changing rooms, children's play area and disabled persons' toilets. For food and refreshments, there's a Little Chef Express as well as various vending machines and a small snack bar.
